Snoop Dogg is now ready to instantly finance his first Swansea City<\/a> move, with the Welsh club plotting a summer swoop to sign a replacement for Zan Vipotnik.<\/p>\n

In the year of 2026, it seems absurd to even wonder about the possibility of Luka Modric and Snoop Dogg sitting in a room together. So it seems even more absurd that they’ve now both got a stake in Championship<\/a> side Swansea. It is the wildest crossover English football has seen since Wrexham rolled out the red carpet for Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.<\/p>\n

The Welsh side have been in a winter wonderland, nonetheless, and the famous rapper has since visited the Swansea.com Stadium to express the pride that he has in playing his part.<\/p>\n

Football is so often full of bad decisions, but Swansea will be desperately hoping that Snoop Dogg, Modric and co. introduce a new era, which features a return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his decision to buy a stake in the club, Snoop Doog said<\/a>: “My love of football is well known, but it feels special to me that I make my move into club ownership with Swansea City.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The story of the club and the area really struck a chord with me. This is a proud, working class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me. I’m proud to be part of Swansea City.”<\/em><\/p>\n

It’s unlikely to be a routine summer in Wales, however. Recent reports have claimed that they’re expecting to lose Vipotnik<\/a>, who has scored more goals than anyone else in the Championship so far this season (16). <\/p>\n

It will be a major blow if that does prove to be the case, but it looks as though Swansea already have a replacement in mind this summer.<\/p>\n

As reported by Sports Boom, Swansea are now plotting a move to sign Jayden Wareham<\/a>, with Snoop Dogg ready to finance his first deal at the club.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has played like a forward who is very much young, wild and free at Exeter City this season – scoring 18 goals in all competitions. If anyone’s ready to step up to the Championship, it is him this summer.<\/p>\n

Although it will be tough to replace Vipotnik’s ruthless nature in front of goal, Wareham is certainly not a poor finisher. The forward has outperformed his XG by almost three goals so far this season.<\/p>\n

At just 22, he’s yet to reach the peak of his powers and could become the striker that Swansea need to earn promotion for the first time since 2011.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
