The 2026 National Women\u2019s Soccer League<\/a><\/strong> season kicks off on March 13, and we at The Equalizer<\/em> are previewing all 16 teams for you. We\u2019re kicking things off with the teams that finished in the top four of the 2025 regular season standings.<\/p>\n

Head Coach:<\/strong> Juan Carlos Amor\u00f3s (4th season with Gotham)<\/p>\n

Key Additions:<\/strong> Jordynn Dudley, Savannah McCaskill<\/p>\n

About the offseason:<\/strong> Gotham had two of its attacking roster leave during the offseason. Ella Stevens was a big part of the team\u2019s 2024 regular season success, and started almost every match for the side in 2025 before suffering an injury in June. Geyse, the flashy Brazilian who came to Gotham on loan from Manchester United in late March, has also departed. She made 17 regular season appearances for the squad in 2025, scoring 2 goals and making 2 assists. She also scored against Club Am\u00e9rica \u2014 her new club \u2014 in the Concacaf W Champions Cup semifinal. In Danish midfielder Josefine Hasbo, Gotham loses a consistent starter, but her absence shouldn\u2019t be felt too deeply considering midfield is their deepest position. Stevens and Hasbo both join expansion side Boston Legacy for 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
