Bay FC previously set the record in August 2025 when it hosted 40,091 the Spirit at Oracle Park in San Francisco. The Spirit won that match 3-2.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This time, the Summit\u2019s defense held the visitors at bay. Washington\u2019s best chance came in the final seconds of stoppage time when <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/277ae96a\/Hal-Hershfelt?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\">Hal Hershfelt<\/a> struck from distance but went wide to the left. The midfielder was visibly frustrated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Currently 0-1-3, the Spirit are still looking to secure their first win of the season. Following a NWSL championship final appearance in 2025, they now sit at 12th place. Denver sits at 7th place at 1-1-2.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boston notches first goal but falls short of first points<\/h2>\n<p>Boston Legacy FC, the season\u2019s second expansion team, remains at the bottom of the table following a 2-1 loss at home to the Utah Royals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Still, the club saw its first ever goal from forward A\u00efssata Traor\u00e9 off an assist from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=9aef86d6,a0367700&amp;search=Amanda+Gutierres&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\">Amanda Gutierres<\/a> in the 73rd minute, shifting attacking momentum in its favor to finish out the match.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But the Royals maintained a lead for most of the game to secure its first win of the season. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/db1957b4\/Tatumn-Milazzo?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\">Tatumn Milazzo<\/a> put Utah on the board in the 34th minute off a set piece, finishing a chance from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/2af1a4e8\/Cloe-Lacasse?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\">Clo\u00e9 Lacasse<\/a> that hit the post.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>Utah drew a penalty four minutes into the second half. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/08a0adb8\/Lara-Prasnikar?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\">Lara Pra\u0161nikar<\/a>\u2019s penalty kick extended the lead and put the Royals in a comfortable position for the rest of the match.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alex Pfeiffer shines for Bay FC\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>With a dominant 3-1 victory over the North Carolina Courage, Bay FC earned its first road win since April 19, 2025. Most of it was thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/f78523f1\/Alex-Pfeiffer?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fbref.com\/en\/players\/f78523f1\/Alex-Pfeiffer?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=equalizersoccer.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-03-28_fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Alex Pfeiffer<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since scoring Bay FC\u2019s first goal of the season in her debut for the club, the 18-year-old forward has been a key generator for the offense. Pfeiffer put Bay FC on the board against North Carolina early. But the attack made the difference. Bay FC saw seven shots on target. North Carolina had just two all game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kansas City loses third straight\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Concerns are growing for the Kansas City Current. As a bonus, the Wave recorded the second 2-0 win of the day over the Chicago Stars.<\/p>\n<p>While Chicago held San Diego\u2019s scoring off in the first half, the floodgates opened in the 56th minute with a run from Dudinha up the midfield.
