Manchester United<\/a> have received a huge boost to sign Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane, as per Football Insider<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Since moving to the Allianz Arena from Tottenham<\/a> Hotspur in 2023, the 32-year-old has showcased his goal-scoring prowess, making more than 100 goal contributions combined over the last couple of seasons. He has even won a Bundesliga title and German Super Cup.<\/p>\n This season, the Englishman has continued to display excellent performances, netting 48 times and notching up five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n The forward has been guiding his side to mount a title charge once again. Moreover, he has helped his side reach the quarter-final and semi-final of the Champions League<\/a> and DFB Pokal, respectively, this term.<\/p>\n However, with the player\u2019s existing deal set to expire at the end of next season, speculation surrounding his future has started emerging ahead of the upcoming summer window.<\/p>\n Football Insider<\/em> state that Man Utd hold a long-standing interest in the former Tottenham star and could make a move to secure his services this summer or next year.<\/p>\n Bayern Munich have already opened talks with Kane\u2019s representatives to extend his deal, but negotiations haven\u2019t progressed yet. The Bavarian club\u2019s president, Uli Hoeness, has even hinted that Kane might leave.<\/p>\n So, this is a huge boost for United to seal the deal. However, Man Utd will have to overcome stiff competition to sign him as several other Premier League<\/a> clubs are also in this race. Tottenham are keen on bringing him back, but the player might not want to return to the Lilywhites due to their recent issues.<\/p>\n Man Utd currently have Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as specialist options to deploy in the centre-forward position. However, the Dutchman has found himself on the periphery this season.
