The story written by Dave Filoni is about Maul, a former Sith Lord. Sith Lord is trying to create a criminal syndicate again and is looking for an apprentice while on the planet Janix during the early years of the Galactic Empire&#8217;s existence.<\/p>\n<p>The revenge scheme used by Maul in the <em>Star Wars: Maul &#8211; Shadow Lord<\/em> season 1 premiere is precise. He creates problems between his former subordinates, who took advantage of his demise to kill Nico Deemis and kidnap Looti Vario, who controlled the Pyke Syndicate, to achieve his main goal: defeating Darth Sidious.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>How does Maul orchestrate his revenge in the <em>Star Wars: Maul &#8211; Shadow Lord<\/em> season 1 premiere?<\/h2>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>In the opening scene of <em>Star Wars: Maul &#8211; Shadow Lord<\/em> season 1, viewers find Maul raiding Nico Deemis&#8217; bank vault on Janix, with the help of his allies, Rook Kast, Scorn, and Spybot. His brutality in dealing with the pursuing policemen stems from his suppressed anger towards those who betrayed him, since Deemis was a member of his Shadow Collective.<\/p>\n<p>Maul carefully designs a confrontation between Deemis and his enemy, Looti Vario, in order to see that they eliminate each other, making it easier for him to gain control of their organizations. This scheme proves partly successful when Vario is captured by the police and Deemis is killed.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Maul takes over from the police, seizing Vario and taking him hostage. In this episode, detective Brander Lawson is tasked with handling the investigation, and he finds out about the robbery, following which he orders his droid, Two-Boots, not to report any information to the Empire for the time being. Being introduced alongside her master, Eeko-Dio Daki, Devon embodies an ideology different from Maul&#8217;s, who uses power to make people fearful.<\/p>\n<p>The arrest of Devon for stealing something insignificant brings her into Maul\u2019s way. This is one of the most notable interactions of the premiere. Inspired by constant visions within the Force, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/us\/movies\/disney-reveals-new-trailer-maul-shadow-lord-complete-breakdown-easter-eggs-missed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Maul assumes that Devon<\/a> will become his disciple one day. He kidnaps Devon together with Vario and tries to shake her off from the Jedi doctrine, saying that the traditional good vs. evil binary cannot work in a shattered galaxy.<\/p>\n<p>Using his persuasive skills on her resemblances to how he tried to do it previously with Ahsoka Tano. Nevertheless, Devon refuses to be manipulated.
