Today outta Petaluma, California, e*thirteen drops the new Sidekick 2.0 Hub. This new hub is supposed to be lighter and faster with zero pedal kickback for MTBs and eMTBs. The new Sidekick 2.0 addresses a common mountain bike issue: pedal kickback. <\/p>\n

The new hub uses a patented ratchet system that fully retracts the main pawls during coasting. This, in turn, completely separates the drivetrain from the suspension, allowing the rear wheel to follow terrain more naturally, while keeping the suspension working the way it should.<\/p>\n
