R<\/span>obert Lewandowski, who is out of contract with Barcelona and has been linked with a move to MLS or AC Milan in Italy, spoke about his future at the Catalan club on Esport3’s ‘FanZone’<\/strong> programme.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old Polish striker told Gerard Romero<\/strong> that he is going through “a tough week” after being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n

“Has it been a tough week? Yes, of course<\/p>\n

“Has it been a tough week? Yes, of course. We wanted to be in the semi-finals of the Champions League, but now we have a few games left and we want to win LaLiga,” said the Pole to 3Cat.<\/p>\n

When asked about a supposed lack of maturity in the young Barcelona squad, the veteran striker stressed that “we have a very big potential and players who always want to play”.<\/p>\n

Robert Lewandowski was asked directly about the information from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano<\/strong> that Barcelona have presented his agent Pini Zahavi “a new one-year renewal offer with a significant pay cut” and that “right now Lewandowski is not happy with the first proposal received”.<\/p>\n

Robert Lewandowski replied that “we have time, the club knows everything I think. I need some time to think; it’s clear on both sides”<\/strong>, and stressed that “every day something new comes out in the press, but for us it is not important. The most important thing is what we want to do this season together”.<\/p>\n

“If I have a renewal offer already? I don’t want to talk about my future. La Liga is the important thing. Then we can talk,” he insisted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
