She&#8217;s with a few other quality riders, \u00c9vita Muzic and Eva van Agt (FDJ United-SUEZ), Liane Lippert (Movistar) and Erica Magnaldi (UAE Team ADQ) so this could well be them dropped.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T14:02:33+00:00\">2026-04-26T14:02:33.765Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-278db7ea-5525-4a90-8eb3-ac00d9fbe1b8\">We&#8217;re on the Col du Rosier now, this one is 4.4km at 5.9% gradient. Not as hard, but it drags on. It&#8217;s the variety of climbs which adds to the difficulty, there is never a rhythm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:58:04+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:58:04.494Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-9658d8a0-38a5-4061-8a6d-8b6f06239efe\">The race has settled a little after the last triptych of climbs. A great sprinter, she can climb brilliantly and no one will want her to be in the lead group when they reach the Quai des Ardennes and the finish line.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:46:11+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:46:11.328Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-cadef924-3e6a-44da-9858-10554db2c564\">We&#8217;re over the top of the Haute-Lev\u00e9e and Kopecky is still just off the back of the peloton, it doesn&#8217;t look a capitulation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:41:33+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:41:33.288Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-9040eb1e-b003-4a8c-a695-9d1cac7805e2\">No sooner is Gerritse caught than her SD Worx team mate, Lotte Kopecky is gapped by the bunch. Again, like Van der Breggen earlier it could be that&#8217;s she&#8217;s heading back to the team car.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:37:54+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:37:54.582Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-3809d942-0d4d-446c-abbe-5da4d0af2e83\">Gerritse is caught on the ascent of the C\u00f4te de la Haute-Lev\u00e9e. A group of nine dropped riders are out of it now, more than three minutes back.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-80km-to-go\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"article-body__section\" id=\"section-80km-to-go\"><span>80km to go <\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:34:51+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:34:51.164Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-1bb20159-2199-41de-9531-a6b596d14ba5\">The C\u00f4te de la Haute-Lev\u00e9e is longer, but still tough, 2.2km and an average of 7.5% gradient. She&#8217;ll drop back into Stavelot now then head straight onto the C\u00f4te de la Haute-Lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:30:32+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:30:32.666Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-23ca3599-0152-403b-813a-46c4d97cee71\">Onto the C\u00f4te de Stockeau, just 1km but at an average of a brutal 12.5%. Whatever happens, those who climb well and have hopes of winning, will try to numb the legs of their rivals.<br \/>Gerriste has only 25 seconds!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:28:59+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:28:59.369Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-88a2a14d-53f3-47ec-b8a5-672dced9ff24\">Gerritse is working very hard now, Bego and Dickson have dropped to 50 seconds and into the clutches of the peloton. <br \/>Into Stavelot now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:26:27+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:26:27.608Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-ac904e11-f2a6-402b-9802-b13557dce9b4\">The Stockeau is like a diversion off the main route north. In Stavelot, the riders will swing right onto the climb, on which there is a stature of the legend Eddy Merckx.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wcp-item-content\">\n<time class=\"no-wrap live-feed-date\" datetime=\"2026-04-26T13:22:54+00:00\">2026-04-26T13:22:54.066Z<\/time><\/p>\n<p id=\"elk-b5cee895-2866-429d-a3e3-c7fd99de9e73\">We&#8217;re over the top now, heading towards the town of Stavelot and the brutal C\u00f4te de Stockeau.
