Arsenal<\/a> face Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League<\/a> semi-final on Wednesday, and were thwarted of a win by a player that could very possible be on their books next season \u2013 Julian Alvarez.<\/p>\n His penalty ensured a share in spoils between the two clubs ahead of next week\u2019s second leg after Viktor Gyokeres had opened the scoring on the night in the visiting side\u2019s favour from the spot as well.<\/p>\n Diego Simone confirmed Arsenal\u2019s interest in Alvarez and as per Sky Sports<\/a>, Atletico have slapped the Argentine international with a \u00a3130 million price tag as they look to drive away interested parties from their talisman.<\/p>\n With 20 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season<\/a>, coupled with Antoine Griezmann\u2019s exit at the end of the campaign, it is not a surprise that Atletico want to retain their key player amidst interest from elsewhere.<\/p>\n Julian Alvarez is one of the world\u2019s top strikers and can also play on the wings.
