Yet it all seems like a big blur. I\u2019m tired. Very very tired!,&#8221; was his assessment on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"article-continues-below block py-2 text-sm\">Article continues below <svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"inline-block w-2.5 h-2.5 ml-2\" fill=\"currentColor\" preserveaspectratio=\"xMidYMid meet\" viewbox=\"0 0 1000 1000\"><path d=\"M1000 100L500 900 0 100h1000z\"\/><\/svg><\/span><\/p>\n<aside data-component-name=\"Recirculation:ArticleRiver\" data-recirculation-type=\"inline\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Trending Bar\" data-nosnippet=\"\" class=\"clear-both pt-2 pb-0 mb-4\">\n        <span class=\"&#10;            flex&#10;            after:content-[''] after:flex-1 after:ml-4 after:my-[0.7rem] after:border-t after:border-solid after:border-t-[#ccc]&#10;            before:content-[''] before:flex-1 before:mr-4 before:my-[0.7rem] before:border-t before:border-solid before:border-t-[#ccc]&#10;            font-article-heading pb-0 text-[length:var(--article-river-title--font-size,1em)] uppercase sm:text-[length:var(--article-river-title--font-size,0.875em)] font-bold&#10;        \"><br \/>\n            You may like<br \/>\n        <\/span><\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">He had, however, made it look easy out on the course, with the intense and focussed training he&#8217;d been putting in since January reaping one of the biggest rewards in gravel.<\/p>\n<p>It took just nine hours, 57 minutes and 38 seconds for W\u00fcrtz Schmidt to claim victory at The Traka 360, which, after course changes this year, was actually 325km long, and he carved out a gap of more than 11 minutes to second-placed Hugo Drechou (Gravel Nation) while Specialized Off-Road teammate Matthew Beers was just a little further back in third.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t that nothing went wrong for <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/mads-wrtz-schmidt\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/mads-wrtz-schmidt\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/mads-wrtz-schmidt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">W\u00fcrtz Schmidt<\/a> \u2013 that&#8217;s rarely the scenario in such a long race \u2013 but even when a wheel change quickly followed by a wrong-turn left him having to chase back to the front of the race, he never skipped a beat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I felt amazing,&#8221; W\u00fcrtz Schmidt told <em>Cyclingnews<\/em> while in the crowd after the event. &#8220;I said to Matt early on, that today I don&#8217;t feel my legs.
