The event was held at Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 10, 2026, and aired live on Netflix that same day, featuring an impressive line-up of celebrities and comedians, which included Pete Davidson, Lizzo, Tom Brady, Chelsea Handler, Tony Hinchcliffe, and Regina Hall, among others.<\/p>\n<p>During his roast, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/pop-culture\/news-i-power-through-pete-davidson-jokes-hard-watch-p-rn-following-birth-daughter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Pete Davidson<\/a> decided to take some shots at his fellow comedians gathered to participate in Kevin Hart&#8217;s roast. The <em>Saturday Night Live <\/em>alum set his sights on Tony Hinchcliffe, saying he reminded him of Charlie Kirk and urging someone to kill Hinchcliffe, a possible reference to the comedian&#8217;s hit podcast <em>Kill Tony<\/em>. For those uninformed, Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck and killed at Utah Valley University in September 2025.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cTony Hinchcliffe is here, looking like both a child molester and the doll they give the child to show where he touched them. Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, and that\u2019s he\u2019s definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat. Oh, you don\u2019t know me? Yeah, \u2018Kill Tony.\u2019 Please someone f**king \u2018Kill Tony.\u2019 Tony nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings,&#8221; Davidson said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>According to The TIME, Tony Hinchcliffe was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and landed a writing gig on Comedy Central Roast. He launched his <\/strong><strong><em>Kill Tony <\/em><\/strong><strong>podcast in 2013 and soon began developing his comedy career. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hinchcliffe blew up online in 2024, after he called Puerto Rico a \u201cfloating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean\u201d during his speech at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/pop-culture\/what-mark-hamill-post-trump-star-wars-veteran-apologizes-white-house-calls-sick-individual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Donald Trump<\/a>&#8216;s presidential rally in Madison Square Garden in October. He also garnered criticism for his comments about the Latino and Black communities at the rally, alleging that Latinos \u201clove making babies&#8221; and joked about one of his Black \u201cbuddies\u201d and how they \u201ccarved watermelons\u201d together.<\/p>\n<p>Tony Hinchcliffe&#8217;s comments were met with immense backlash at the time, and the comedian defended himself amid the controversy in an X post. The comedian reposted a clip of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/pop-culture\/beyonce-lauryn-hill-more-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-reveals-holy-trinity-pop-albums\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/a> and then-Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz criticizing his remarks, and accused them of not having a sense of humor.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;These people have no sense of humor. Wild that a vice presidential candidate would take time out of his \u201cbusy schedule\u201d to analyze a joke taken out of context to make it seem racist. I love Puerto Rico and vacation there. I made fun of everyone\u2026watch the whole set. Chelsea Handler, who was part of the line-up, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DEADLINE\/status\/2053650940675465291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">hit at<\/a> Hinchcliffe during her set, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cTony is what happens when women don&#8217;t have safe access to abortion care&#8230; Tony is a real guy&#8217;s guy, or what is commonly known as a bottom&#8230; Tony, you have the face of a school shooter and the personality of someone who gets short first&#8230; Tony, quick question, if you\u2019re here tonight, who\u2019s keeping Joe Rogan\u2019s b*lls warm in their mouth?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tony Hinchcliffe didn&#8217;t hold back when it came time for his roast. The comedian joked that he was certain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/pop-culture\/news-who-wants-go-there-chelsea-handler-takes-dig-nicki-minaj-critics-choice-awards-monologue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Chelsea Handler<\/a> would be available for the roast as it fell on Mother&#8217;s Day. <\/p>\n<p>Hinchcliffe also said that Handler being Jewish was the only thing interesting about her and compared her appearance to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/us\/movies\/news-netflix-confirms-keep-warner-bros-separate-dcu-retaining-current-leadership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">DC Comics<\/a> villain Joker, saying she &#8220;f**king sucks,&#8221; and calling her a &#8220;cold, frigid b***h.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;She looks like the f**king Joker, people.
