After opting to bat first, the hosts piled up a daunting total of 237/5 in 20 overs, courtesy of a sensational century from Ayesha Zafar. The left-handed batter played one of the finest T20I innings seen in Karachi, hammering 102 runs from only 47 balls. She dominated the Zimbabwe attack with elegant strokeplay and fearless aggression, striking 15 fours and two sixes during her stay at the crease. Ayesha kept the scoreboard moving rapidly and ensured Pakistan maintained complete control throughout the innings.

After Gull’s dismissal, Saira Jabeen added a quick cameo of five runs before Natalia Pervaiz contributed nine runs. Aliya Riaz then provided the perfect finishing touch with a destructive unbeaten 48 off 23 deliveries.
