The\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> fired Urban Meyer<\/a> after just 11 months as head coach.<\/p>\n Otherwise known as a legendary coach on the college football field, Meyer went 2-11 in the NFL, and his time in Jacksonville came complete with off-field incidents as well as an alleged kick of his kicker.\u00a0<\/p>\n It was a disastrous tenure for Meyer, but he tried to salvage his time in Jacksonville by suing the organization for wrongful termination.<\/p>\n Meyer took the Jaguars to court in an effort to try to get over $30 million that he would have been owed for the final four years of his contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n That grievance against his old team has failed, though. According to Brett McMurphy of On3<\/a>, an independent arbiter ruled that the Jags fired Meyer with cause.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
