She shared a heartfelt message on social media following the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>NXT&#8217;s official <em>X (fka Twitter)<\/em> handle recently announced that the Stamford-based promotion has signed four new performers. The tweet introduced them as the newest Rookie Class at the Performance Center. Wrestling veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/dean-malenko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Dean Malenko&#8217;s<\/a> daughter, Lacey Simon (aka Marie Malenko), is one of them.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"template__newsletter-inline-banner-form-combo-widget\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<p><img id=\"subscribe-img\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\nThanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, Simon took to Instagram to share older pictures of herself alongside popular stars at WWE shows. In the caption, the third-generation professional wrestler noted that she knew what she wanted from a very young age, and she achieved it. <\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;since birth babyyyyyy. knew what I wanted and got it. let\u2019s get to work. Gods plan.\u270d\ufe0f,&#8221; Simon wrote. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>You can check out her Instagram post below: <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The other three signings unveiled by NXT&#8217;s X handle are Mason Rook, Nicole Martinez (aka Nikki Blackheart), and Marcus Brown. Mason Rook has already made his NXT debut. Martinez also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/wwe\/news-breaking-nikki-blackheart-debuts-in-wwe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">competed inside the WWE ring for the first time<\/a> in a dark match at the most recent episode of NXT. <\/p>\n<h2>Another WWE signing shared an emotional message ahead of her tryout<\/h2>\n<p>Nikki Blackheart is a very popular name on the independent scene. The global juggernaut invited her for a tryout in February.<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to her tryout, the former former CCW Women&#8217;s Champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/wwe\/news-nikki-blackheart-breaks-silence-blockbuster-wwe-announcement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">penned an emotional message<\/a> in one of her tweets. She expressed her gratitude for everyone who supported her in her pro wrestling journey. The 29-year-old noted that she was ready to earn her place. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The biggest pinch me moment \ud83d\udda4 I was officially invited to the @wwe tryout. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all the moments experienced, all the people that have helped me in my journey, my coach, my loved ones, my classmates, all the promoters that took a chance on me, my lodestone girls, and all my supporters that believed in me from day one.
