Liverpool<\/a> are now pushing hard to sign a forward with “the finishing ability of Sadio Mane”, as Richard Hughes believes this summer is the best opportunity to get a deal over the line.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Andoni Iraola<\/a> now looks poised to replace Arne Slot in the Anfield dugout, with the Dutchman being dismissed after failing to deliver a trophy in his second season, but Jamie Carragher isn’t fully convinced the ex-AFC Bournemouth manager is cut out for the role.<\/p>\n Carragher<\/a> is a fan of Iraola’s “high intensity” football, but also has reservations about whether he will be able replicate that style of football on Merseyside.<\/p>\n “My worry is, can you play at that intensity when you’re playing every three days, and that was only getting played once a week with Bournemouth.
