It was learned<\/a> earlier on Monday that the\u00a0<\/span>New York Giants<\/a> were signing veteran wide receiver Braxton Berrios\u00a0<\/a>to a one-year deal. Thus, some assumed that the Giants had decided to pass on bringing Odell Beckham Jr.<\/a>\u00a0back to what was his\u00a0<\/span>first NFL<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>home from the 2014 draft through the 2018 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Giants later proved such individuals wrong.\u00a0<\/p>\n Later on Monday, the Giants confirmed<\/a> that they have signed Beckham to what presumably is a team-friendly deal. As ESPN’s Jordan Raanan<\/a> noted, Big Blue made these moves after receiver and kick returner\u00a0<\/span>Gunner Olszewski\u00a0<\/span>tore his Achilles during an OTA practice.\u00a0<\/p>\n Beckham earned his three career Pro Bowl nods (2014-16) while featuring for the Giants, and the one-time Super Bowl champion recently made it known<\/a> that he feels he “left some things unfinished” with the organization. Additionally, John Harbaugh reportedly<\/a> However, one would think that Beckham may not be guaranteed a spot on the Giants’ active roster come September.
