Kongchai caught the advancing Moldovan with a sharp left-hand counter that stopped his momentum cold. Strungari reached for a spinning elbow in desperation, but Kongchai walked through it and answered with a left hook to the body, followed by a cross to the head.<\/p>\n<p>He kept the pressure on. A digging left hand found the midsection again, and a crushing knee hammered the same spot. The Moldovan was on the way down when he caught another knee to the head for good measure.<\/p>\n<p>He hit the canvas hard and could not beat the count. The referee waved it off at 1:32 of round one.<\/p>\n<p>The win pushes Kongchai&#8217;s career record to 79-16 and extends his winning streak to four consecutive fights.
