Seasoned all-rounder Deepti Sharma will be key for India Women in their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign. The 12-nation tournament begins on Friday, June 12. The Women in Blue will play their first match against Pakistan in Birmingham on June 14.<\/p>\n
Deepti<\/a> was Player of the Tournament when India won the Women’s ODI World Cup at home last year. She was the leading wicket-taker, with 22 wickets at an average of 20.40 and an economy rate of 5.52. With the bat, she contributed 215 runs at an average of 30.71 and a strike rate of 90.33.<\/p>\n Deepti has featured in 19 T20 World Cup matches so far.
