CM Punk has been absent from WWE television for a while, and a new report has laid out the massive plans in store for The Second City Saint when the former World Heavyweight Champion returns.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, CM Punk<\/a> appeared on Monday Night RAW and shared the ring with Cody Rhodes following his successful title defense against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. While The Second City Saint lost his title to Roman Reigns in Las Vegas, Punk already had his eyes on the Undisputed WWE Championship. The reason for the move is to balance the roster, as the red brand currently has Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, The Usos, The Vision, and Oba Femi. Meanwhile, the blue brand needs to add some star power.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n Moreover, the report stated that the company is headed toward a feud between Punk and Rhodes for the title, which was teased on the RAW after WrestleMania 42. It’ll be interesting to see how the creative manages to start a feud between two babyface stars in the promotion.<\/p>\n CM Punk started the year as the World Heavyweight Champion. The Second City Saint entered WrestleMania as the champion and headlined the event against Roman Reigns for the title.
