The Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0<\/a>were in the mix to trade for former Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett.<\/p>\n They refused to include Jalen Carter<\/a> in any trade talks, ultimately costing them a chance to land the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.<\/p>\n However, general manager Howie Roseman isn’t the one to let other teams one-up him very often, and he might have another move up his sleeve.<\/p>\n According to NFL insider Jason La Canfora, executives around the league believe he’ll look to trade for Arizona Cardinals star Josh Sweat.<\/p>\n \u201cIf nothing else, I think (Eagles GM) Howie (Roseman) takes him back,\u201d the GM told<\/a> La Canfora.<\/p>\n Sweat already played for the Eagles, and he followed former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to the desert.<\/p>\n He made 17 appearances last season, totaling 30 tackles — including 13 for loss — with 17 quarterback hits and 12.0 sacks, per\u00a0Football Reference<\/a>.<\/p>\n Still, Coach Gannon is no longer in the building, and the Cardinals are projected to struggle. Also, he skipped OTAs, and while he was at mandatory minicamp, he didn’t participate in team drills<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Eagles already bolstered their pass rush with veteran A.J. Epenesa.
