The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>‘ lack of offseason<\/a> moves has raised concerns about their offense.<\/p>\n They let several wide receivers walk and didn’t sign any of the big-name options available. Rashee Rice’s<\/a> recovery from surgery while in jail was obviously a huge talking point.<\/p>\n Rice served a 30-day jail sentence after violating his probation. He had just gone under the knife and had to undergo right knee debridement while in jail. However, it looks like he didn’t suffer any setbacks, infections or issues. According to Charles Goldman of A to Z Sports, he’ll be out there for training camp.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m told Rice might not even face a physically unable to perform (PUP) designation at the start of camp,\u201d Goldman wrote<\/a>. \u201cIt all comes down to the work he\u2019ll put in for the next six weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n On paper, Rice will be Patrick Mahomes’ primary weapon in the passing game next season. He looked like a star in the making as a rookie, but a season-ending injury and a suspension seemingly derailed his career.<\/p>\n Now, he’s entering a contract year, and given his recent history of poor behavior\u00a0<\/a>off the field, he’s got plenty of catching up to do if he wants to convince the Chiefs to trust him with big bucks and a long-term deal.<\/p>\n The Chiefs are coming off missing the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era, so the stakes have never been higher during Andy Reid’s tenure.
