WWE purchased Mexican Wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide last year. The announcement was made during the WrestleMania 41 Pre-show and garnered a lot of global attention. Since then, both promotions have collaborated to present a lot of great events together. Talent from RAW, SmackDown and NXT make appearances on the Mexican show’s programming very frequently. However, there is a fan theory making rounds on the internet that what happens on AAA isn’t canon to RAW or SmackDown. This was confirmed by Angel Garza<\/a> in his recent tweet.<\/p>\n AAA Lucha Libre has become a major success since WWE acquired it last year. The company has had several great storylines including Dominik Mysterio’s feud with El Hijo Del Vikingo and the saga of the El Grande Americanos. Both these feuds involved stars who make regular appearances on the company’s main roster brands as well. However, whenever he made appearances on RAW, the New El Grande Americano was portrayed as a heel. Fans had been pointing this out for a while and WWE star Angel Garza took notice of this. He talked about this divide in his recent tweet and claimed that he and other’s will give it their best to protect the legacy of Lucha Libre. A fan replied to his tweet stating that everyone will believe SmackDown isn’t canon to AAA if Angel says so.<\/p>\n The former AAA Tag Team Champion responded by confirming this fan theory of the two shows not being canon to each other. He wrote:<\/p>\n “100%”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based company will make the AAA shows canon to their main roster storylines anytime soon.<\/p>\n The Undertaker is one of the most celebrated professional wrestlers in the world. He retired from in-ring competition after defeating AJ Styles in the Main Event of WrestleMania 36 Saturday in 2020. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame<\/a> in 2022 and continues to make appearances for the company on several occasions.<\/p>\n However, the Phenom took up a major role last year when he became the Head of the Creative for AAA Lucha Libre. Under the Undertaker’s creative guidance, the promotion has produced several great feuds and matches including the latest Mask vs. Mask match between the two El Grande Americanos.<\/p>\n Fans in Mexico are loving this new creative approach of the Deadman to storylines and feuds.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
