The winger is set to reject a contract extension in order to push through a move to the Premier League<\/a>, leaving Benfica with no choice but to green-light offers worth \u20ac40m (\u00a334m).<\/p>\n

Whether Spurs or Liverpool match that asking price remains to be seen, but it’s clear to see why they’re interested in the 22-year-old.<\/p>\n

In terms of output, which De Zerbi desperately needs in his frontline, Schjelderup would be an excellent addition. The same can be said for Liverpool, who will be forced to find an alternative for Yan Diomande if RB Leipzig price them out of a move this summer.<\/p>\n
