Ange Postecoglou will team up with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo as the Australian manager has been announced as the new boss of Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.<\/p>\n

The former Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Celtic manager\u2019s longest stint out of coaching since he was sacked as boss of Australia\u2019s youth teams is over with Postecoglou signing a two-year deal with the Saudi champions.<\/p>\n

As well as 41-year-old Ronaldo, Postecoglou will be in charge of a dressing room that includes the likes of former Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Barcelona attacking midfielder Joao Felix, ex-Liverpool forward Sadio Mane and former Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou has been working as a pundit during the ongoing World Cup for British broadcaster ITV.<\/p>\n

While since he departed Forest last October, the 60-year-old has been working as a technical adviser for UEFA.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou had also recently been linked with the vacant Scotland job after they were eliminated from the World Cup in the group stage.<\/p>\n

Instead he replaces Al-Nassr\u2019s previous manager Jorge Jesus and the club has made their expectations clear by citing one of Postecoglou\u2019s most notorious quotes from his time at Tottenham on their announcement graphic.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt all my previous clubs, it ends the same. With me and a trophy,\u201d it read.<\/p>\n

This will be Postecoglou\u2019s first job in Asia since he coached Japanese outfit Yokohama F. Marinos to the J-League title.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
