NBA<\/a> analysts and fans alike are on the edge of their seats to see where James ends up.<\/p>\n Now, a report out late on Friday points to one team “ramping up” its efforts to sign James. It’s not the Warriors. It’s not even the Miami Heat<\/a> or the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>,\u00a0two other teams\u00a0he’s regularly been linked to.<\/p>\n The Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> think they’re legitimately in the running for James and have “ramped up” their attempt to sign the star forward in free agency, according to a report from Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic<\/a>. Minnesota also has a “full belief” that it can land James.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Minnesota Timberwolves have ramped up their push for LeBron James, with full belief that they are very much in the hunt to land one of the greatest players in NBA history, league sources told The Athletic,” he wrote in the report.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n He also stated that the sources “said the Timberwolves have been in contact with James’ representatives with a bold pitch: team up with Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert to go after the kind of championship that could end any discussion about who is the greatest player of all time.”<\/p>\n According to Krawczynski, one reason the Timberwolves want James is that the franchise has never won the NBA title.
