Will Ospreay<\/a> has been associated with the Death Riders for months now and he officially joined the group at this past week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. The Jon Moxley-led stable has built an image of brutality and violence over the last few years. Now that the Aerial Assassin is officially a member of the group, Ospreay’s morality has been under question. AEW has now issued a public statement following this new recruitment in the Death Riders.<\/p>\n The Death Riders reigned with terror over the All Elite Wrestling for the better part of last year when Moxley was the AEW World Champion. The group terrorized everyone including major stars like Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page. Last year, Ospreay helped Hangman topple Moxley and become the World Champion at All In: Texas. Later on, the Death Riders were the ones who attacked Ospreay at Forbidden Door and injured him that caused his 8 month hiatus.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n However, he returned at the Revolution pay-per-view earlier this year and attacked the Moxley-led group. He lost to the Purveyor of Violence at Dynasty and later started training with him. Ospreay’s training under Moxley’s guidance led to his win of the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Cup. Following the Forbidden Door broadcast, Moxley invited Will Ospreay into the Death Riders and he accepted. Ospreay and Moxley had their first match together on this past week’s episode of Dynamite.<\/p>\n Following Ospreay’s debut as a Death Rider<\/a>, AEW issued an official statement on their X account.<\/p>\n “On @WillOspreay’s first official night as a member of the Death Riders, he and @JonMoxley showed remarkable chemistry when they picked up the win on #AEWDynamite!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It will be interesting to see what’s next for the Aerial Assassin as a member of the Death Riders.<\/p>\n Will Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland in the finals of the 2026 edition of the Owen Hart Foundation Cup at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. Ospreay has now punched his ticket into the AEW World Championship match which will be the main event of this year’s All In pay-per-view.<\/p>\n Will Ospreay will face either MJF or Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship in the All In main event. Ospreay’s opponent will be decided on next week’s episode of Dynamite as MJF will defend his Triple B against the God of Professional Wrestling. If Kenny loses this match, he will never be able to challenge<\/a> for AEW’s richest prize ever again.<\/p>\n Fans are looking forward to the upcoming episode of Dynamite which will decide the main event for this year’s All In London event.<\/p>\nWill Ospreay will challenge for the AEW World Championship in the main event of 2026 All In: London<\/h2>\n
