Kevin Durant <\/strong>has not experienced a single defeat as a Phoenix Suns <\/a><\/strong>player, as the NBA <\/a>star has led his new team to eight victories in eight games.<\/p>\n The former Brooklyn Nets <\/strong>star scored 29 points, netting six three-pointers, to lead the Suns to a 119-115 victory over the Denver Nuggets<\/strong>. This was Phoenix<\/strong>‘s seventh win a row.<\/p>\n Durant <\/strong>played 40 minutes against the Nuggets <\/strong>in coach Monty Williams<\/strong>‘ bid to help him integrate into the team ahead of the playoffs.<\/p>\n “I think we have to try to use these games to get guys to a place that we think is comfortable for them,” Williams <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Chris Paul <\/strong>sank seven triples, this being his best mark across his 1,213 NBA games. He finished the game with 25 points, six rebounds and two assists. Devin Booker <\/strong>missed three of 12 shots from the field to finish with 15 points.<\/p>\n Nikola Jokic <\/strong>had already missed three games with a calf injury before returning to play 25 minutes in the loss to Houston<\/strong>. He was rested against Phoenix <\/strong>along with Aaron Gordon<\/strong>, Michael Porter Jr., Jamal Murray <\/strong>and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “We’re just trying to be smart about managing those injuries as we move forward,” Nuggets <\/strong>coach Michael Malone <\/strong>said before the game.<\/p>\n “Speaking to the players individually and speaking to our training staff, having played 79-80 games to this point, those guys have been dealing with these injuries for a while.
