Modric was a useful asset for Spurs during the 160 games he played for them. There were clear signs of a player who could go onto even bigger things, underpinned by his 32 goal contributions and his general levels of quality.<\/p>\n
That he moved to Real Madrid showed just how good he was. Following his move to the Spanish giants, he elevated himself to the status as one of the best midfield players in the world.<\/p>\n
Modric has racked up almost 500 Real appearances in an era when they\u2019ve been one of the powerhouses of European football. That\u2019s reinforced by the five Champions Leagues won while Modric has been at the club, that he\u2019s played a big part in.<\/p>\n
His contract with Real is up in the summer. As such, he could be on the move, and Redknapp \u2013 who managed him at Spurs \u2013 feels the north London outfit should be swooping for the midfielder.<\/p>\n
