After a season of struggle in the Premier League<\/a> last term, the Liverpool<\/a> faithful are once again preparing for a new era under different management at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot was handed his marching orders just a couple of months ago, subsequently leading to Andoni Iraola<\/a>\u2019s appointment as the Reds\u2019 new boss until the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n

PSG winger Bradley Barcola has consistently been mentioned as one potential transfer target<\/a>, with the Frenchman a player who could star at Anfield for many years to come.<\/p>\n

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool have spoken to Aston Villa and asked<\/a> to be kept informed about the player\u2019s availability amid a potential departure from the West Midlands this summer.<\/p>\n

The report also states that Arsenal are another club eyeing the England international and could be seen as the side best placed to secure his signature ahead of the 2026\/27 campaign.<\/p>\n

However, any deal would cost a pretty penny this window, as Unai Emery\u2019s side are demanding a fee higher than Elliot Anderson\u2019s \u00a3116m move to set a new English record.<\/p>\n

Yan Diomande<\/a> appeared to be the Reds\u2019 number one target at one stage, with the hierarchy even being willing to splash upwards of \u00a3100m on the RB Leipzig youngster.<\/p>\n

Missing out on Diomande to the French outfit would undoubtedly be a bitter blow for Iraola and the hierarchy, considering the amount of work put in to secure his services.<\/p>\n

It could prove to be a blessing in disguise, especially if the Reds can secure a move for Rogers this summer – with the Englishman a player who already possesses key top-flight experience.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old also managed to outperform the Leipzig star in key areas – which undoubtedly makes him a bigger talent for Iraola\u2019s side ahead of the 2026\/27 campaign.<\/p>\n
