A playful moment between BTS members Jin and Jungkook during the group’s first London concert recently became the subject of heated discussion among fans. The conversation intensified after Jungkook revealed during the following night’s show that he had been experiencing back pain.<\/p>\n
During BTS’ first London concert on July 6, Jin playfully jumped onto Jungkook’s back during the performance of Butter<\/em>. Jungkook carried the eldest member in a piggyback while continuing to perform, drawing cheers from the audience. At one point, Jungkook briefly paused before singing his part then he adjusted Jin’s position on his back afterward and continued the performance.<\/p>\n Throughout the moment, both idols appeared to be enjoying themselves. They were seen smiling, laughing, and giggling as Jin swayed to the music while on Jungkook’s back before eventually climbing down. Videos of the interaction quickly spread across social media, with many fans describing it as a display of the duo’s close friendship.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n However, not everyone viewed the moment the same way. A section of the fandom raised concerns over Jungkook’s previous back issues, arguing that the piggyback should not have happened considering reportedly the singer had experienced a herniated disc in the past.<\/p>\n These fans criticized Jin<\/a>, saying he should have been more mindful of Jungkook’s condition and that the members, now older, should avoid similar interactions during performances. The discussion gained even more attention after BTS’ second London concert on July 7.<\/p>\n During the show, several concertgoers noticed Jungkook rubbing his lower back during the performance before briefly sitting down. Later, during his ending ment, the singer addressed the issue himself, explaining that that he had injured his back during the performance and admitted that the pain affected him for the remainder of the concert.<\/p>\n The singer explained that he felt something suddenly “snap” in his back while performing FYA<\/em> earlier in the show, saying,<\/p>\n “I was having so much fun performing. I was like \u201cLet\u2019s absolutely crush it tonight!\u201d and just went all out. Then all of a sudden, I felt something snap. I was like \u201cHuh?\u201d and that\u2019s when I realized something was wrong.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n As a result, he said he found it difficult to fully concentrate on the performance from that point onward. His comments immediately sparked widespread concern, with fans flooding social media with messages wishing him a speedy recovery and urging him to get sufficient rest.<\/p>\n At the same time, another debate emerged. Some fans connected Jungkook’s back pain to the previous day’s piggyback with Jin rather than the incident Jungkook<\/a> himself described. They argued that repeated moments of members climbing onto Jungkook’s back during concerts could have contributed to the injury and urged the group and the company to be more cautious in the future.
