The UFC welterweight star is convinced that life would be better if women were the ones running things.<\/p>\n<p>Garry is set to challenge Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title at UFC 330, which takes place on Aug. 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>During a recent interview with <em>High Performance<\/em> ahead of the event, when the conversation turned to his wife Lyla Anna-Lee, the Irishman said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;She&#8217;s my earth angel. She is the person who, when I need guidance, I go to her. It&#8217;ll all be simpler and easier. A real man is a father, a husband, and is there for his wife and his kids. Even if they&#8217;re not together, still there, still shows up. A real man is someone who does the right thing even if he doesn&#8217;t want to.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Garry added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A real man is sticking to your word. And I feel like nowadays people&#8217;s word means nothing.
