Earlier this month, <\/span>the U.S. Under-20 Women\u2019s National Team (USWYNT) had a summer training camp and played in two international friendlies. The team convened from July 5-16 at the <\/span>Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center<\/span><\/a> in Fayetteville, Ga.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The National Training Center opened in May 2026 and is home to all of U.S. Soccer\u2019s national teams. The center has a player-driven environment and fosters development throughout all 27 of the U.S.\u2019s national teams.<\/span><\/p>\n In June<\/span>, USWYNT head coach <\/span>Vicky Jepson, called up 24 players for the camp and international games, including young NWSL stars Micayla Johnson, Zoe Matthews, Evan O\u2019Steen, Onyeka Gamero, Sofia Cedeno, and Katie Scott.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The USWYNT took on the England Under-20 WNT on July 9 for the first international match up at the National Training Center. The game ended in a 1-1 draw with Johnson scoring the U.S.\u2019s only goal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Their second international match up took place on July 12 against the Colombia Under-20 WNT. The USYNT dropped to Colombia 1-0 as they struggled to convert shots into goals. England and Colombia also faced off on July 15 and finished in a draw.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The USWYNT\u2019s July camp was the final training camp before Jepson chooses the roster that will represent the U.S. in the <\/span>2026 FIFA U-20 Women\u2019s World Cup<\/span><\/a> in Poland<\/span>.
