Veteran wide receiver\u00a0<\/span>Tyreek Hill<\/a> remains a free agent as players around the NFL<\/a> are wrapping up their summer breaks ahead of training camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n There has been no real indication throughout the offseason that any team has come close to signing Hill after he\u00a0dislocated his\u00a0<\/span>left knee<\/a> “So it\u2019s about 10 months after doing two surgeries,” Hill explained, per\u00a0<\/span>Charean Williams<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of Pro Football Talk. “My left leg is the one that I injured.\u00a0<\/span>I have no power\u00a0in my left leg, so I\u2019m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it\u2019s one day at a time.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Hill turned 32 years old in March of this year,\u00a0and the obvious concern is that he no longer will be his “Cheetah” self coming off the type of injury that could end a career for an athlete his age. Some had previously linked him with a return to the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, but such chatter now appears to be little more than speculation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hill played for Kansas City from 2016 until he\u00a0<\/span>was traded<\/a> to the Miami Dolphins<\/a> following the 2021 season.<\/span><\/p>\n “I ain\u2019t going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man,” Hill said about his future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hill was featuring for the Dolphins when he suffered his gruesome injury. It sounds like outsiders didn’t fully realize just how serious that setback was last fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n “You know, they told me I might not be able to walk again, and the doctor is like, ‘Bro, we don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen with your future,’ and now look at me. God is good,” Hill added during his comments. “I feel good.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Hill could either consider taking a “gap year” out of the league to try to get right for 2027, or he could wait to see if an advertised contender would be willing to bring him in for a workout later this year. That said, his “no power” comment would lead one to believe he won’t be signing with a club anytime soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
