Manchester United<\/a> are continuing their search for a new left-back and have now landed on Fenerbah\u00e7e’s Archie Brown.<\/p>\n

The Englishman has impressed in Turkey but is now ready to complete a move back to the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils are attempting to solve their left-back problem and find a long-term replacement for 31-year-old Luke Shaw. Whilst the defender featured in every Premier League game last season, his injury history is no secret, and the arrival of Brown would signal the beginning of the end for his Man United career.<\/p>\n

As replacements go, Brown would be an excellent choice to step in ahead of Shaw. The left-back hasn’t stepped foot in English football since leaving Derby County in 2021. To go from Pide Park to Old Trafford would be some story and it has not been an easy journey.<\/p>\n

Under a manager who values winning possession back quickly in Michael Carrick<\/a>, the numbers suggest that Brown could even become an upgrade on Shaw.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old made just under double the amount of recoveries as the Man United man last season, whilst also grabbing one more assist.<\/p>\n

Factor in the bargain price and this is a deal that INEOS would be wise to complete as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

As reported by Sabah in Turkey, Man United have received the green light to sign Brown<\/a> from Fenerbah\u00e7e if they reach an affordable price-tag worth just \u20ac20m (\u00a317m).<\/p>\n

Manager Ismail Kartal wants to keep hold of his impressive defender this summer, but the Turkish club have overruled him and will cash in if their price is met, while the player himself wants to return to England.<\/p>\n

And that’s where Man United come calling, with previous reports suggesting that contact is already underway<\/a> between the clubs, making this deal one to watch in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

In a market full of absurd prices, signing Brown for just \u00a317m would be another act of genius from the Red Devils, who have already welcomed Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos for less than \u00a3100m.<\/p>\n

There’s plenty more to come from those at Old Trafford this summer. Alongside Brown, Man United have also made contact to sign Aurelien Tchouameni <\/a>from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

The Premier League giants are after one more midfielder to complete their rebuild and the Frenchman could be heading for the exit door in Spain this summer.<\/p>\n

Tchouameni is still very much the dream target for United. Whether they make their dream signing a reality remains the biggest question, however. No one can doubt the midfielder’s quality, but the ball is still very much in Madrid’s court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
