Warwickshire have strengthened their squad for the remainder of the 2026 season by signing Indian batter Pratika Rawal. The 25-year-old is set to join the team ahead of their upcoming One Day Cup fixtures and will be available for selection for Warwickshire’s clash against Yorkshire at Edgbaston on August 19.<\/p>\n
Rawal has quickly established herself as one of India’s most promising batters since making her international debut in 2024. In just 26 List A appearances, she has amassed 1,189 runs at an impressive average of 47.56, underlining her consistency in the 50-over format.<\/p>\n
She also enjoyed an outstanding 2025 Women’s World Cup campaign, finishing as the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer with 308 runs. Her memorable century against New Zealand in a must-win encounter proved pivotal for India, although an ankle injury ruled her out of the knockout stages.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Rawal made her Test debut against Australia, scoring a composed half-century in the second innings. She is now set to return after recovering from an injury sustained during India A’s second one-day match against England A in Taunton on July 1, which forced her to miss India’s recent Lord’s Test against England.<\/p>\n
