{"id":25521,"date":"2023-04-08T18:15:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-08T18:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/08\/cowgirl-soccer-ends-spring-exhibition-season-undefeated-oklahoma-state-university-athletics\/"},"modified":"2023-04-08T18:15:00","modified_gmt":"2023-04-08T18:15:00","slug":"cowgirl-soccer-ends-spring-exhibition-season-undefeated-oklahoma-state-university-athletics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/08\/cowgirl-soccer-ends-spring-exhibition-season-undefeated-oklahoma-state-university-athletics\/","title":{"rendered":"Cowgirl Soccer Ends Spring Exhibition Season Undefeated &#8211; Oklahoma State University Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"sidearm-story-template-links hide-on-large\" aria-label=\"Story Links\">&#13;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"hide\">Story Links<\/h3>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n                <\/aside>\n<p>                 <strong>STILLWATER<\/strong> \u2013 Two goals in each half lifted Oklahoma State to a 4-1 win over Tulsa in the Cowgirls&#8217; spring season exhibition finale Saturday afternoon at Neal Patterson Stadium.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWith the win, OSU finished its spring season a perfect 5-0, outscoring its opponents by a margin of 23-2.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Cowgirls opened the game with a flurry of shots on goal, however, they could not find the breakthrough in the first 20 minutes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nBut just past the halfway mark of the first half, sophomore <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/okstate.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/xcaret-pineda\/10395\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"10395\" target=\"_blank\">Xcaret Pineda<\/a><\/dfn> fired a shot towards goal that found the feet of junior <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/okstate.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/hannah-chance\/10218\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"10218\" target=\"_blank\">Hannah Chance<\/a><\/dfn>, who capitalized and tapped home the game&#8217;s first goal in the 24<sup>th<\/sup> minute.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWith just three minutes remaining before intermission, OSU added its second when <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/okstate.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/hayley-ledford\/10229\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"10229\" target=\"_blank\">Hayley Ledford&#8217;s<\/a><\/dfn> solo effort from near the penalty spot found the back of the net to give the team a two-goal cushion at the break.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nTulsa responded well in the second half, with neither team able to get anything going for the first 20 minutes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nHowever, in the 67<sup>th<\/sup> minute, sophomore <dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/okstate.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/logan-heausler\/10225\" rel=\"smarttag noopener\" rev=\"10225\" target=\"_blank\">Logan Heausler<\/a><\/dfn> connected with a ball deep in the TU half, rounded the keeper and fired home OSU&#8217;s third of the game.
