In a recent interview with ALF Global, the former UFC heavyweight champion recalled receiving a lengthy message from Hamilton after posting a video of himself hunting wild pigs from a helicopter in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jones, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/mma\/news-he-unfollowed-blocked-me-jon-jones-reflects-f1-legend-lewis-hamilton-slamming-hunting-pigs-helicopter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Hamilton strongly disapproved<\/a> of the hunting method and criticised him for taking part in it. Jones said the seven-time Formula 1 world champion unfollowed and blocked him before he had a chance to respond:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Lewis saw me shoot the pig from a helicopter&#8230; He wrote me a long message saying that I was a coward, and that he thought that I was better than that. He said that the traditional way of killing animals should be with a spear or a bow and arrow. And he was saying like, only a coward would shoot an animal from an helicopter, to give the animal a chance to fight you back, at least.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe unfollowed me, and he blocked me. And it sucked because I was his fan. I was a fan of him, but he was very disappointed for shooting the pig. So Lewis, if you\u2019re listening, I\u2019m sorry, bro. I\u2019m sorry.
