Oba Femi vs. a current champion was teased as a possible future WrestleMania main event. This interaction took place on the RAW after SummerSlam, in the aftermath of the Brock Lesnar match.<\/p>\n
Oba Femi marched out to RAW with no doubts about the fact that he is the future of WWE and the man who is likely to lead the next generation of talents. To many fans, he has been the highlight of the company this year, and his trilogy against Brock Lesnar proved his legitimacy beyond a shadow of a doubt. So when he came out on RAW<\/a>, he declared that he would be the one to lead forward.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \nThanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/template><\/p>\n As he was making his exit, The Vision’s music hit, and out came Austin Theory with Maxxine Dupri, as well as Bron Breakker. Oba Femi and Bron Breakker had a face-to-face staredown. These are the two men who have been deemed as the future of WWE<\/a>, and this was more than likely a tease of a future WrestleMania main event.<\/p>\n For now, Bron Breakker has to focus on defending the World Tag Team Championship. He faced former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry right after this on RAW and picked up a decisive and easy victory.<\/p>\n It will be interesting to see what happens down the line when Femi and Breakker cross paths. One has to imagine that, while this was only the first time they met, it will be far from the last.<\/p>\n Prior to Femi’s meteoric rise in NXT, Breakker was the man many believed would be the future face of WWE, or at least a top-tier name. Many believed he was on that trajectory, but, like many stars, he lost momentum during what has been described as an underwhelming 17+ months on WWE TV.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
