Buttler now has 14,833 T20 runs at an average of over 35, adding another historic achievement to his career.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After reaching the landmark, Buttler was asked how special the achievement felt. Having shared the Rajasthan Royals dressing room with Sooryavanshi, Buttler has seen the youngster\u2019s fearless approach from close quarters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sooryavanshi enjoyed a dream IPL 2026 season, finishing as the tournament\u2019s leading run-scorer. The teenage opener amassed 776 runs in 16 matches at an average of 48.50 and an outstanding strike rate of 237.31 to win the Orange Cap. He was also named the tournament\u2019s Most Valuable Player (MVP).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His impressive form has continued in international cricket as well. During India\u2019s recent T20I series against Zimbabwe, Sooryavanshi scored two half-centuries(81 and 50), further proving that he can perform consistently at the highest level.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-ad article-ad--middle\" aria-label=\"Advertisement\"><span class=\"article-ad__label\">Advertisement<\/span><\/aside>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Considering his fearless batting style, remarkable consistency and the fact that he is only 15 years old, many believe he has the potential to rewrite several T20 records in the years ahead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the biggest challenge for any young cricketer is maintaining consistency over a long period. Talent alone is never enough.
