A staggering number that shows his popularity.<\/p>\n Zuckerberg has long been recognized as a big fan of the UFC and its athletes.<\/p>\n Last October, he caused controversy at UFC Fight Night: Mackenzie Dern vs. Yan Xiaonan by reportedly renting out the promotion\u2019s APEX centre and turning it into a \u2018private event\u2019, although this was later denied by Dana White.<\/p>\n The Meta CEO did later thank<\/a> White for his invitation, however, and was then shown on the UFC\u2019s Instagram page enthusiastically cheering the fighters on during the event.<\/p>\n With a current total of 7.4 million followers, Israel Adesanya is undoubtedly one of the most popular UFC fighters on Instagram.<\/p>\n Unsurprisingly, many of his followers include fellow UFC fighters such as current bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.<\/p>\n With his current number of followers, \u2018The Last Stylebender\u2019 is more popular on the social media app than the likes of Nate Diaz, Islam Makhachev and Jon Jones.<\/p>\n However, he still pales in comparison to former lightweight champions Conor McGregor<\/a> and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
