Last week’s episode of WWE RAW had some good surprises. Big Cass obliterated Je’Von Evans. Both Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch<\/a> returned to challenge Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.<\/p>\n Roman Reigns<\/a> had an exchange with LA Knight but scoffed at defending his title. He later agreed to defend his title against the winner of a Lucha Libre AAA tournament.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \nThanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/template><\/p>\n The momentum from last week dissipated quickly this week. WWE made the next four mistakes on RAW (August 10, 2026).<\/p>\n Oba Femi<\/a> is still referred to as the 2026 King of the Ring. That should mean his focus should be on the title shot he earned by virtue of winning that tournament. If the title shot is gone, WWE shouldn’t refer to him by that name, as it would be a hollow crown.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/template><\/p>\n They do call him that, so he should be gunning for World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. He’s not. LA Knight also literally challenged Reigns last week, and Reigns walked off without accepting his challenge.<\/p>\n WWE has two viable challengers standing in his way, so what happens? They invent a tournament to give a star from AAA a shot at the title at a random episode of RAW in Mexico next month.<\/p>\n It’s just a blatant case of postponing what the fans want to see to give Roman a longer run. They’ll continually postpone the title programs for whatever reason. This time it’s a tournament.<\/p>\n The broken record managed to turn again this week as Roman Reigns resumed his schedule of taking weeks off after SummerSlam. The bold promise to show up more worked – until he didn’t need to defend the World Heavyweight title after May.<\/p>\n He showed up on RAW despite not even competing at Night of Champions, but after that PLE, took off every other week. If you’re the champion, regardless of status in WWE, you should be on programming every week.<\/p>\n Liv Morgan shows up despite not wrestling. Cody Rhodes<\/a> and CM Punk<\/a> are on SmackDown every week.<\/p>\n General managers are on-screen authority figures who are supposed to run things from week to week. They make matches, address problems, and punish stars when they go too far.<\/p>\n That is, of course, unless a member of the Bloodline<\/a> goes too far. Jacob Fatu left Royce Keys bloodied last week after an attack that would have put him back into jail had it not occurred in the ring.<\/p>\n Pearce didn’t even come out to stop it until Fatu was about to inflict even more <\/em>damage on his friend. He stood in the way, but The Samoan Werewolf ultimately did what he wanted.<\/p>\n Fast forward to this week, and there wasn’t a mention of it. RAW was business as usual, and the Bloodline did whatever they wanted.<\/p>\n Pearce actually ran out to the ring as if he was on fire when Austin Theory went for a chair. Where was that response during the first half of Fatu’s attack on Keys? It just highlights the favoritism he extends only to the Bloodline.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
