San Francisco Giants<\/a> and was a stalwart member of the dominant \u201cEven Year Giants\u201d of the 2010\u2019s, winning the World Series in 2010, 2012 and 2014.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\nThe Venezuela native was the Giants everyday third baseman from 2009-14, with his best seasons coming in 2011 and 2012 when he made back-to-back All-Star teams. In 2011 he hit a career-high 23 home runs and .315 on the season, racking up 6.0 Wins Above Replacement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In 2012 he went on a legendary run in the postseason, hitting .364 with six home runs, 13 RBI and 24 hits in 16 games. Three of those blasts came in Game 1 of the World Series against the Detroit Tigers, a series they\u2019d go on to sweep.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nSandoval left the Giants for Boston after the 2014 title campaign, and hung around the Big Leagues for another seven rather unproductive seasons with the Red Sox and Braves with a return to San Francisco in between.<\/p>\n
