Manchester United<\/a> have been in contact to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick, and he is now keen on a move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

As rumours about Joshua Zirkzee’s future continue to swirl, Man United have been searching for a new striker, and Endrick has been showing signs he is ready to be a key player for one of Europe’s top clubs.<\/p>\n

During the second half of the 2025-26 campaign, the 20-year-old was shipped out on loan to Lyon, where he certainly didn’t disappoint, chipping in with five goals and seven assists in 16 Ligue 1 matches.<\/p>\n

Despite only joining Lyon in January, the youngster created 30 chances in Ligue 1, the third-highest number in the squad across the season, while also finishing joint-first with Afonso Moreira in terms of assists.<\/p>\n

Not only did the Brazilian dazzle during his time with the French side, but he also impressed former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti<\/a>, who said back in February 2025: “He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he’s quick and he still has a lot to improve with the ball.<\/em><\/p>\n

“But, wow, his dribbling, his runs… the shot he has… he could even score a second goal easily with that great strike off the post… He is just spectacular. Very young, but a very fast learner.”<\/em><\/p>\n

However, with the \u00a368,000-a-week<\/a> starlet’s Real Madrid career yet to truly take off, TEAMtalk report that his agents have sounded out United and a plethora of other Premier League clubs, even though Florentino Perez is reluctant to sanction a departure.<\/p>\n

And with contact already established between player and suitors, Football FanCast sources understand Endrick is keen on a move to Old Trafford, having been unable to cement himself as a consistent member of the Madrid starting XI. In the 2024-25 season, he featured for just 352 minutes across 22 appearances in La Liga.<\/p>\n

Endrick may find it difficult to challenge for Kylian Mbappe’s starting spot at Real Madrid, but his performances for Lyon suggest he is ready to join a top club. The 21-cap Brazil international registered eight goals and eight assists in 21 matches for the French side across all competitions.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Benjamin Sesko was on the scoresheet 11 times in the Premier League<\/a> in the 2025-26 campaign, which is a solid tally, but it still remains to be seen whether he will go on to consistently score 20 goals per season. As such, Carrick could do with signing another centre-forward, especially considering Zirkzee scored just two Premier League goals last season.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Unlike last season, Man United are set to have a congested fixture list during the upcoming campaign, having secured a return to the Champions League. Consequently, they will need more depth, and Endrick has now proven himself in a major European league.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n

Having already signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans to strengthen their midfield, Man Utd changing their focus to signing a new striker would make sense, and Endrick could be a fantastic option.<\/p>\n
