Manchester United<\/a> are reportedly battling with Tottenham<\/a> Hotspur and Chelsea<\/a> over a deal to sign Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, as per Caught Offside<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n After moving to Jan Breydel Stadium from Hannover 96 last summer, the 21-year-old enjoyed a promising debut campaign, scoring 22 goals and registering six assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n Moreover, he helped his side win the Belgian Pro League and Belgian Super Cup last season. This campaign, Tresoldi has started impressively, scoring twice in as many games.<\/p>\n Now, Caught Offside<\/em> claim that after being impressed by the youngster\u2019s recent development, Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham have expressed their interest in signing him.<\/p>\n United want a new striker to create competition for Benjamin Sesko as they are prepared to cash-in on Joshua Zirkzee. On the other hand, Chelsea are prepared to let Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson leave and want Tresoldi to support Jo\u00e3o Pedro.<\/p>\n Tottenham, meanwhile, are keen on reinforcing the frontline having already upgraded the defence and midfield. Moreover, the report state that Arsenal<\/a> previously expressed their interest in Tresoldi but are unlikely to make a move anymore.<\/p>\n AS Roma are also in this race and have already launched a formal \u00a330m proposal, but Club Brugge have rejected the offer as they want up to \u00a343m, with his existing deal set to run until 2029.<\/p>\n CO<\/em> report that despite growing interest from the Premier League<\/a> clubs in Tresoldi, Barcelona<\/a> are currently the frontrunners in this race, having already accelerated their efforts to finalise the operation.<\/p>\n The Blaugrana want a new striker following Robert Lewandowski\u2019s departure, while Ferran Torres is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n Hansi Flick\u2019s side have identified Julian Alvarez as the primary target, but Atl\u00e9tico Madrid are refusing to allow him to join a direct rival. So, Barcelona have been forced to explore alternative options.<\/p>\n Tresoldi is a 6ft tall right-footed striker. He is a talented player and possesses high potential.
