Notably, it was the Punjab-based side\u2019s first defeat in the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n Asked to bat first, PBKS got off to a shaky start and managed to score only 143\/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan<\/strong> played a lone hand for his side and scored a brilliant 99 off just 66 balls, including twelve fours and five sixes. Except for skipper Dhawan, none of the other batters from the PBKS side could get going, and the team had to settle for an average total. However, the 37-year-old left-handed batter remained unbeaten for Punjab, saving his team from getting bundled out.
