Day 3 saw India\u2019s spinners wreak havoc on Sri Lanka at Galle on August 17. India resumed their innings with one wicket in hand and batted for just five minutes, adding 4 runs to their total. Asitha Fernando<\/strong><\/a> finished with figures of 2\/63.<\/p>\n Sri Lanka then began their innings but were bowled out for 284. The hosts\u2019 top-order batters lost their wickets cheaply before Sonal Dinusha and Niroshan Dickwella steadied the innings with a 146-run partnership.<\/p>\n For India, Manav Suthar and Ravindra Jadeja bowled brilliantly to wrap up Sri Lanka\u2019s innings. As India began their second innings, rain interrupted play and forced the umpires to call stumps.<\/p>\n Left-handed batter Sonal Dinusha is the top batting performer of the day. He scored his ton in 168 balls including four boundaries and two maximums. He formed a brilliant partnership with wicketkeeper-batter Niroshan Dickwella who also contributed 80 runs from his side. They both forged together 146-run partnership in 213 balls for the sixth wicket to stable the Sri Lankan\u2019s innings.<\/p>\n Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar is the top bowling performer of the day. He returned with the figures of 4\/76 in 21.4 overs. He dismissed Lahiru Udara, Dinesh Chandimal, Prabath Jayasuriya and Lahiru Kumara.
