Christian McCaffrey is said to be being held back from practicing with the San Francisco 49ers by an injury that can only be described as “tightness”. However, Mike Florio believes this is not the case, and the actual reason covers a completely different matter.<\/p>\n

During practice last Tuesday, he said:<\/p>\n “My concern would be him toughing through tightness, like a lot of people do, and then hurting something bad, and then pulling something, which then, it could be a month. … But we’re pretty confident in what he’s done before, in what he’s done these two weeks, and we just want to make sure we don’t make it something to be concerned about.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The 49ers’ season begins in Melbourne against the divisional\/intrastate rival Los Angeles Rams on September 10\/11.
