He has broken the world half-marathon record in the Argentine capital by running the 21,091 meters in 56 minutes and 51 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>El r\u00e9cord vigente era el de <strong>Jacop Kiplimo<\/strong> cuando en las calles de Lisboa el pasado mes de marzo corri\u00f3 el medio marat\u00f3n en 57:20. Recordar que Kiplimo en Barcelona en 2025 fue capaz de correr la distancia en 56:32, que seguir\u00eda siendo la mejor marca mundial pero no fue homologado por\u00a0World Athletics en una decisi\u00f3n m\u00e1s que pol\u00e9mica.<\/p>\n<p>El otro r\u00e9cord de la jornada en Buenos Aires fue el de participaci\u00f3n, con 31.500 corredores en la l\u00ednea de salida.<\/p>\n<p>The next challenge will bring Kejelcha back to Valencian soil.
