Danis&#8217; exit comes just 48 hours before the event.<\/p>\n<p>Within an hour of news breaking about his withdrawal from the bout, the controversial Brazilian jiu-jitsu star revealed an injury that has seemingly forced him out.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, &#8216;El Jefe&#8217; shared an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dcj6DUhx-9_\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Instagram post<\/a> showing a video of a deep laceration on his arm being treated by medical professionals. In the clip, the wound can be seen being disinfected and stitched closed. Aptly nicknamed &#8216;The Human Highlight Reel&#8217;, the 34-year-old from Minnesota holds 12 knockouts and three submission victories to his name.<\/p>\n<p>He was most recently seen earning a split-decision victory over Chris Avila on the undercard of Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano in May.<\/p>\n<p>Perry, also a UFC veteran, holds a 15-8 MMA record. &#8216;Platinum&#8217; boasts notable wins over the likes of Nate Diaz, Paul Felder, and Alex Oliveira, among others. Following his departure from the world&#8217;s premier MMA promotion, Perry has gone undefeated in his bare-knuckle boxing career.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>Mike Perry goes nuclear on Dillon Danis<\/h2>\n<p>It is safe to say that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/mike-perry-mma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Mike Perry<\/a> was deeply upset by Dillon Danis&#8217; last-minute withdrawal from their Duel Arena 1 MMA clash.
