Despite being the Interim WWE Women&#8217;s Champion, she wasn&#8217;t medically cleared to compete after suffering an injury not long after winning the title. That story has now wrapped up, and the verdict has been made by the doctor.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The following contains spoilers for the 4th September episode of SmackDown. If you don&#8217;t wish to see them, please don&#8217;t proceed any further.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><template id=\"template__newsletter-inline-banner-form-combo-widget\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<p><img id=\"subscribe-img\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\nThanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>It was Cleveland, Ohio, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/wwe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">WWE<\/a> did a double-taping of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/go\/raw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">RAW<\/a> and SmackDown so that superstars and the crew could enjoy an entire week off. This was a great decision because, as we know, the grind never stops. For Chelsea Green, it has been an especially tumultuous month. She won the Interim WWE Women&#8217;s Championship, but she suffered an orbital bone fracture not too long after on SmackDown. Nick Aldis then told her that if she could get cleared by the end of the month, he wouldn&#8217;t strip her of the title. On the 29th August episode of SmackDown, Nick Aldis was in the ring with Chelsea Green, who gave an emotional speech. She said she cared about her legacy more than her injury.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>In a huge moment, the doctor told Green that if she continues wearing a face mask, she is officially considered medically cleared. This received a huge pop from the live audience, who were understandably relieved about the fact.<\/p>\n<h2>Chelsea Green has a huge challenge ahead of her.<\/h2>\n<p>The Interim WWE Women&#8217;s Champion was pinned by Nia Jax on SmackDown, marking the second time she was pinned since winning the World Championship.
